Dia 03 de março é dia de San Medir e nesse dia, seguindo uma tradição bem antiga de um senhor muito rico que foi curado por Sant Medir, os habitantes de Grácia (bairro onde moro) saem para pegar balas e pirulitos que são distribuidos pelas Colas (como gremios/associações de ruas), cada Cola tem os cavaleiros, o caminhão com as balas e uma batucada, a la marchinha. É super divertido! São quilos de balas atirados no povo que com sacos, sacolas e sacolinhas, guardas-chuva de ponta cabeças, baldinhos de criança e tudo o mais que possa servir para pegar a maior quantidade possíveis dos projéteis açucarados. É uma loucura, e o melhor, ou melhor, pior é que a rua fica cheia de bala esmagada que resulta em uma super camada melequenta que gruda no sapato. Eu adorei a festa! Até porque é no dia do aniversário da minha mãe que é uma formiga e muito animada, como a festa.
